Police Confirm 16 Dead In Gunmen Operation

The Kaduna State Police Command said no less than 16 people were murdered by shooters at Barde Village under Maro in Kajuru Local Government Area of the state.

The Command's Public Relations Officer, DSP Yakubu Sabo, who affirmed this said at about 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, some obscure furnished men entered Barde Village under Maro in Kajuru Local Government Area and began shooting sporadically which came about to the demise of 16 people.

He said on receipt of the data, the direction prepared groups of police agents driven by Kajuru Divisional Police Officer (DPO) close by military work force so as to catch the culprits and reestablish commonality to the territory.

He included that activity was progressing and the circumstance had been brought leveled out.
