ASUU blasts FG, Aisha Buhari over proposed Muhammadu Buhari University

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on Tuesday pummeled the Federal Government and Aisha Buhari, over the proposed arrangement to set up a private college to be named after President Muhammadu Buhari.

ASUU who pummeled Aisha Buhari, further depicted the proposed college by the spouse of President Buhari as a calamity. As indicated by the association, the arrangement of the spouse of the President to build up another college affirmed why her Husband kept on decreasing budgetary designation to instruction since he accepted office in 2015.

Director of the association, University of Ibadan part, Professor Deji Omole and a previous National Treasurer of the Union, Professor Ademola Aremu who talked in independent meetings with newsmen in Ibadan, all chided the First Lady over the proposed move.

Omole stated: "When I caught wind of the proposed private college to be named after Mr President, I just took a gander at it as a joke taken excessively far. In the event that we have a president in a nation that has essentially would not support government funded instruction and all we get from the principal family is to set up a private college as a team with certain outsiders, it is a calamity for this nation and for a sitting president.

"The suggestion is that Nigerians should realize that this authority does not have confidence in open financed instruction".
