Dubai Robbery: UAE Denies Visa Restrictions For Nigerians

The United Arab Emirates Thursday denied that it has suspended issuance of three-month vacationer visa to Nigerian identification holders.

"These news are erroneous and stresses the significance of sourcing news from its official channel," the UAE Embassy in Nigeria said on its Twitter handle. A similar message was additionally shared on its Instagram page.

News via web-based networking media guaranteed that Nigerian identification holders were never again qualified to "3 months UAE visa". Rather, the visa will be limited to only one month.

The news was given undue trustworthiness after it was shared by numerous Nigerian influencers.

The supposed suspension was touched off by the capture of five Nigerians for outfitted burglary in UAE's third biggest city Sharjah
