Fire Razes Building, Destroyed Millions Of Property In Lagos (Photos)

A flame flare-up has annihilated million naira worth of properties at a structure lodging different shops on Shonola road in Aguda-Ogba region of Lagos on Saturday.

As per a source, the flame began from a hairdressing salon before it spread to different pieces of the structure.

The structure which was inverse the Excellence Hotel in Ogba was nearly annihilated to the ground before the landing of firemen.

An onlooker who uncovered "The fire began from a beautician shop when one of the specialists was endeavoring to refuel a working generator.

"As she was fuelling the generator, the barrel containing the fuel burst into flames, rather than him to discard the barrel, out of dread she flung the barrel as yet containing fuel into the shop, this was the means by which the flame began and reached out to different shops."
