Senate Finally Passes 2019 Budget, Makes Increase

The Nigerian Senate has passed an aggregate of N8.916 trillion as the spending limit for the 2019 financial year as against the N8.83 trillion proposed by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Compact News reports that the new spending figure was passed after Danjuma Goje, executive senate board of trustees on assignments, exhibited a report on the floor of the upper administrative chamber on Tuesday.
