Equity Ladiran Akintola of the Oyo State High Court, sitting in Ibadan, on Monday, indicted and condemned Adisa to eight months in jail.
The convict, who was prior charged on May 22, 2018 preceding Justice Munta Abimbola, the Oyo State Chief Judge and directing legal scholar in Court 1, was initially confronting nine-tally offenses that verge on getting cash by misrepresentation and imitation.
The offense is in opposition to segment 1(2) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related (Offenses) Act, 2006 and Punishable under Section 1(3) of a similar Act, while the last repudiates Section 467 of the Criminal Code.
Because of the exigencies of time, his case was exchanged to Justice Akintola's Court 9, where he was in the long run indicted. Prior to the Monday session, Adisa had moved toward the indictment for a supplication deal.
The solicitation was conceded and the different sides made due with a re-arraignment on a one-tally altered charge whereupon he was imprisoned. As a component of the conditions for the acknowledgment of the supplication deal, the convict has restored to the casualty of his extortion the total of N1,405,000 (One Million Four Hundred and Five Thousand Naira).
