OBJ as he's affectionately called, was coming back from a gathering in Addis Ababa when the Ethiopian Airlines plane he loaded up thought that it was hard to arrive at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos because of precipitation.
Talking in a meeting with Premiumtimes, the previous president related his experience when he was on board the airplane.
He said ;
"I was on Ethiopian Airline. Downpour just descended intensely. The pilot figured he could arrive. Also, he landed. He contacted down. Yet, I think he took a quick choice that he needed to take off once more. So he took off. On the off chance that he didn't, I think he most likely would have overwhelmed the runway. He at that point apologized and said he would attempt to arrive once more. He attempted once more, and we landed securely. What's more, we as a whole applauded.
He contacted the ground. At that point he took off and apologized and landed again at about 12.30. We went through pretty much 10 minutes noticeable all around before we landed once more.
While everything occurred, I was perusing my papers. Small time, who was by me, stated, 'Oga you no stress?' I stated, 'Íf I stress, what will I do? On the off chance that you are on a plane and you have a circumstance like this, for what reason should you stress?' I left everything in the hands of God"
