Power to End After Super-Sized Season 6 — Find Out When It'll Premiere

Really soon, Starz will have a Power vacuum: The wrongdoing dramatization will finish after the up and coming Season 6, TVLine has learned.

The 15-scene 6th season, named "The Final Betrayal," will debut on Sunday, Aug. 25.

In an announcement, both the system and arrangement co-maker Courtney Kemp affirmed that the show's recently declared spinoff(s) would be set in a similar world that Ghost, Tommy, Tasha, Angela and Co. possess.

"Season 6 conveys us as far as possible of what we know is only the main part of the Power story. In any case, as one part arrives at an end, another will start," said Carmi Zlotnik, Starz leader of programming. "Courtney Kemp and 50 Cent have made a world rich with unpredictable and dynamic characters, and there are various stories we intend to advise as we proceed to investigate and extend the Power universe."

Kemp included that future undertakings will "pursue a portion of your cherished Power characters past the extent of the underlying arrangement… however we will play with your desires for which characters, where and the ace course of events, all things considered, making a Power universe as erratic as the first."

Arrangement co-maker Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson played medication boss Kanan, who kicked the bucket in Season 5. Jackson will make his directorial debut with the 6th season's third scene, a portion which he guaranteed "highlights one of the most out of control scenes ever on the show." Anthony Hemingway (The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story), who helmed the initial two scenes of the arrangement, will come back to coordinate its finale.

After the Season 5 finale, Kemp implied that the forthcoming keep running of scenes may be the show's last. "What I can say," she told TVLine at the time, "is that the story is arriving at an end."
