22-year-old domestic staff murders his employer and her mother 24 hours after he was employed in Lagos


The Lagos state police order today, captured multi year old Joseph Ogbu, for the frightful homicide of his manager, Oreoluewa John, 38, and her 89-year-old mother, Adejoke John, at their home at Number 4 Ogunlana drive in Sururlere, Lagos state.

An announcement from the order's Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, says at about 3am today, the Surulere Police Station got a misery call from No 4 Ogulana drive in Surulere that Joseph who is from Oju Local Government Area, Benue State and who was utilized as a local staff on eighteenth June, 2019, killed his boss Oreoluwa and her 89 years of age Mother at their home.

The suspect admitted to the Crime.

In his announcement, he asserted that, his boss requested that he clean the house at about 9pm of nineteenth June, 2019 however a contention followed between them, which provoked him to cut her with a blade. Joseph said the stun made the mother ghetto and kick the bucket.

The Commissioner of Police Lagos State, CP Zubairu Muazu mni has requested the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba to assume control over the examination and charge the suspect to Court.
