Compact News reports that the judge, Dahiru Lawal, additionally requested Sa'idu to wash the bathroom of the court after he confessed to burglary.
Prior, the convict said that he stole the wood to make a closet for a tailor.
The Prosecution Counsel, Insp Ibrahim Shu'aibu, told the court that the case was accounted for at the Magajin Gari Police Station in Kaduna on June 13 at around 3 p.m.
"The cautious gathering gave the suspect to the police after he stole two logs of wood at the Murtala Muhammad square recreational region.
"Upon cross examination at the police headquarters, he confessed of the wrongdoing," he said.
He said the offense negated the arrangements of Sections 305 of the Kaduna State Penal Code.
