Police nab three men who specialize in snatching Uber cars

The agents of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have captured three speculated looters who tricked a UBER driver into the bramble, strangulated him and carried off his Toyota Camry, 2006 model.

The suspects were captured on Thursday morning in Lekki, Lagos, when they were headed to hand over the grabbed vehicle to a purchaser.

Daniel Alagor (28), Samuel Effiong (25) had, on Wednesday night, mentioned for UBER and told the driver, Ekwomi Charles, to take them to Abijo GRA from Jakande Estate, Lekki at around 11:00 p.m.

As indicated by the driver: "On getting to there, they tired a rope around my neck from the back. At that point, every one of them began punching me till I go out.

Feeling that I was dead, they brought me into the shrubbery and dropped my body close to an uncompleted structure.

They left alongside me a blade in the wake of tying me. Say thanks to God, I woke up later. I revealed at the nearest police headquarters and in the end, I learnt RRS men have captured them.
