EPL: Pochettino Finally Speaks After Tottenham Sack

Previous Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has said he gave his best to the club during his stay with the White Hart Lane side, Concise News reports.

Pochettino was sacked by the club a week ago Tuesday following five and a half years and driving the side to the Champions League last.

The Argentine began the season in poor structure with the North London side winning three of 12 association games to leave them in fourteenth – and 11 points off the best four.

Previous Manchester United supervisor Jose Mourinho was named as Pochettino's successor only not exactly a day after he was sacked.

In an announcement on Thursday, Pochettino expressed gratitude toward the club for the opportunity to work with them, just as the fans for their help.

"I might want to express gratitude toward Joe Lewis and Daniel Levy for allowing me the chance to be a piece of Tottenham Hotspur's history," he said.

"I might want to thank additionally everybody I met at Tottenham, all the club staff and the football players during these five and a half years.
