Man drowns while swimming at National Stadium pool

A man distinguished as Sodiq Yusuf has passed on while swimming in the pool of the National Stadium in Surulere Lagos.

State police direction representative, Bala Elkana, said in an explanation that Sadiq,26, was saved and hurried to Randle General Hospital, Surulere, where he later passed on.

His cadaver has been stored at the funeral home.

In another water-related mishap, Elkana said two people are as yet missing after a vessel mishap at Amuwo-Odofin territory of the state. A wooden pontoon fitted with 30HP Yamaha Engine being worked by one Adesuyi John with 13 travelers ready, slammed into a NPA Tug vessel and capsised.

The joint power of the police, firemen, LASEMA and other crisis the board offices saved 11 of the travelers after the mishap. Endeavors are being made to locate the two regardless others missing.
