On Friday morning, the United states Military affirmed that the General leader of Iran's Quds Force, Qasem Soleimani was killed in a United States ramble strike requested by President Donald Trump.
Qasem Soleimani, the leader of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force unit, and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the agent leader of the Iran-supported Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), were among those killed in the assault at Baghdad International Airport early Friday morning.
Republicans have lauded Trump for his activities saying he acted to the greatest advantage of American lives while Democrats have condemned Trump's activities saying more Americans lives have been placed in peril by the activity as Iran will without a doubt fight back.
Soleimani's killing is huge as he is viewed as a saint in Iran and the Iranian government has announced three days of grieving for the killed general.
The US has set it's Baghdad Embassy on shutdown and requested Americans in Iraq to clear Iraq.
