5 Abuja residents arrested over false claim of contracting coronavirus


Five Abuja occupants have been captured and strutted by the police in the Federal Capital Territory for attacking the Wuse General Hospital with bogus cases of having contracted Coronavirus.

The Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Anjuguri Manza, who marched the five suspects before newsmen, gave their names as Peggy Shandi (M), Abayomi Adedoyin (M), David Gold Enemigin (M) Priscilla AJesola (F) and Jacob Oji (M).

As indicated by Manza, the suspects professed to play out a content about the infection without the information or approval of the applicable specialists of the FCTA.
