In "Straight Up," a satire from the essayist chief James Sweeney, the 20-something Todd (Sweeney) builds up a hypothesis: Maybe he isn't gay, as he has consistently suspected. Possibly others' assumptions of his gayness turned into an inevitable outcome.

His companions laugh at the possibility that he may be pulled in to ladies. His advisor (Tracie Thoms) shows up dubiously distrustful. Be that as it may, Todd gets the opportunity to test the idea when he experiences Rory (Katie Findlay), a trying entertainer.
