The choice was reached after the officials passed a bill altering the rule of the Kaduna state reformatory court, 2017. 

The get together, which on Thursday reported the advancement through their Twitter handle, said Wednesday the bill was passed into law. 

"The Bill proposes total Castration in the State for Rapist," the get together tweeted. 

The legislative leader of the state, Nasir El-Rufai likewise tweeted about the new law.

In June, Mohammed Adamu, overseer general of police (IGP), said Nigeria recorded 717 assault cases inside five months in 2020.
