The leadership of the National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) under the presidency of Comrade Olalere Benedict Adetunji has appeal to the students community of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo. Ondo state.
This was made known by the president of NAPS to the pressmen on Tuesday 24th November, 2020 during his monthly press briefing at the NAPS Secretariat, Ibadan, Oyo state.
The NAPS President in his statement said; "Our appeal to the students community is a result the uprising development through our demands made, during the NAPS Campus tour to RUGIPO, Ondo state. We realized a good turn up from the management council of the institution sequel to our agitation requests made known to the school rector during our visit to his office as part of our facility tour."
"We realizes that through NAPS diplomatic approach to the agitation, there has been an obvious changes in the system of management and adequate welfarism has now being provided to the students community." - Comrade Benedict furthered.
The president of NAPS therefore applaud the school management for identifying with our demands and calls for an absolute calm amongst our students community.
