Canada to support Nigeria with $10m to tackle insecurity

The acting Canadian High Commissioner Nicholas Simard has said his nation is happy to help Nigeria with $10 million in its fight against instability. 

Simard made this declaration when he visited the Minister of Police Affairs, Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, in Abuja. There, he focused on the need to fabricate the limit of staff of the Police Force, in addition to other things to decrease viciousness. 

The Head, Press and Public Relations Unit of the Ministry of Police Affairs, Odutayo Oluseyi, in an assertion at the end of the week, cited Simard as saying that Nigeria is a multi-faceted non-industrial nation, with weakness representing an extraordinary test to its development. 

The High Commissioner said this has become a thing of stress and has required their backing.

He said Canada's journey and backing in advancing common freedoms, harmony and solidarity, in Nigeria as well as in Africa everywhere, can't be over-accentuated.
