OFFICIAL: Donald Trump has left the White House for the final time

Trump leaves Washington , skips incoming president Joe Biden's inauguration.

He will be the first sitting president since 1869 to be absent from the incoming president's swearing-in ceremony.

President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris have arrived at the US Capitol for the inauguration.

Former President Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama arrived at the US Capitol for Joe Biden’s inauguration. Their arrival was followed by former President Clinton and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary_Clinton .
