The Lagos b3ggar at Ikorodu Garage today will think twice before approaching someone like me… if he didn’t repent after what I did.

I was heading to Oshodi and left the BRT queue because I forgot my Cowry card. Frustrated by almost getting h!t by Okada riders, I noticed this beggar following me — the same one I often see around the terminal. That day, he would carry all my frustration.

He claimed he needed money for transport. Instead of giving him, I told him to enter a bus and promised to pay. 

He hesitated but got in once he realised I was serious. During the journey, he frowned the whole time. At Ketu, he tried to get down to buy something. I told him, “Enter this bus now before I rem0ve your teeth.” He quietly sat down.

When we finally got to Oshodi, he barely said thank you. I got him to Osodi from Ikorodu. He can trek back to Ikorodu and continue begging. If he sees me again, he’ll run”
