The governorship hopeful of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, got away from a horde assault on Saturday.

Compact News reports that Abdullahi Haruna, a representative for the Kano police direction affirms this in an announcement on Saturday.

He clarifies that Kabir nearly got mobbed before he was saved by security agents while endeavoring to cast a ballot at his Chiranchi ward in Gwale Local Government Area of the state.

"It was a typical crowd activity which regularly happens when two resistances encounter one another," the announcement says.
